SEEMS BYGONE, BUT NOT THAT FAR
That was a gaze, indeed it was, which came piercing many things that impeded me from him. When it fell on me, I had butterflies fluttering all over in my stomach.
I sat frozen, totally deaf-mute to the music class that was going on with my heart pounding relentlessly. Had never noticed him before, never once did.
I was inattentive to my friend who was jabbering about something, unaware of his gaze and my restlessness. I was so lost wondering who this handsome guy was.
It was a camping. Days passed with his gazes following me all the while. And at last, came that day, foregone were the endless joys and celebrations, the last day of camping. Everyone parted, so did we, without a word in exchange, without a goodbye.
Days became dull, feelings surged and I even felt tabled. A month was left ahead to wait, wait and wait until I meet him once again.
